David and his son Zack sell rare and collectable money. They wanted a web site in addition to their ebay site to sell on line.
I thought, well, a site all about money should look like money. I took a scaned of a old one dollar bill into Photoshop and started "cutting it up" to create the basic page design. I looked for a font simular to the one used on actual money for the web site title. When I couldn't find anything satifactory I went into Illustrator drew my own fonts by hand. Staying away from the cliche color of green, I used the colors from the antique dollar bill for the links and background.
I put it all together in Dreamweaver with a CSS tableless design and CSS dropdown menus.
